As all forms of Dispute Resolution involve delay and expense it is important to consider at an early stage whether Mediation or some other form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is appropriate to any dispute.

We have experience of working with clients and others to resolve disputes quickly through mediation.

Mediation can involve the appointment of independent experts upon terms agreed by the parties or the referral of a dispute to a recognised ADR body.

We have access to the very latest mediation mechanisms some of which have only been made available with the development of Internet technology.

Mediation is not suitable for every case, there are limits on the powers to be exercised by a mediator, which may mean that mediation is inappropriate in some cases, however it should be given proper consideration in all cases.

It is possible to pursue Mediation whilst at the same time proceeding with of proceedings. In this way the parties actively explore the possibility of settling conflicts whilst reserving their position before the court or an Arbitrator.
