It is an unfortunate truth that legal advice costs money although we at C.E.Law do what we can to keep legal costs to a minimum.

· Most of the work we undertake is charged on an hourly rate. Our charging rates are lower than our competitors -
by some 15 - 20%.

· We can be flexible on our terms and can in appropriate case offer a fixed cost for a matter or even a no win no fee "conditional fee agreement"

· Wherever possible we seek to recover our client's costs from their opponents. Whilst that is not always possible,
for example in Adjudication cases, we try to make as full a recovery as possible for our clients.

· It may be possible to insure our client's costs by an "After the Event" legal insurance policy. Where such a policy is available the insurer will meet legal costs where a client loses the case insured.

· In Adjudication cases it may be possible to offer fees on a "contingency" basis, that is, we will charge a percentage
of the sums recovered if successful but will not raise any charges in the event the client does not recover.

In addition to our charges there may be other charges - court fees, experts fees and counsel's fees. Our clients must pay these fees if we incur them on their behalf whether or not we succeed.

We give full details of our fees to all our clients both before and during any matters upon which we may be instructed and will not incur any fees or charges to third parties without obtaining our client's prior permission to do so.
